Here at tomcreanbook.com we strive to ensure that orders we fulfil reach you as soon as possible. We please ask for some patience with possible delays caused by Covid-19. If you have any questions in regards to your purchase that you can’t find the answers to below, please use our contact submission form.
Currently, orders that we fulfil personally via our website shop, consist of the Signed Second Edition of Crean – The Extraordinary Life of an Irish Hero Kerry-Made version, the SignForTom T-shirts, the SignForTom Lapel Pin and a choice of two Custom Made bookmarks
We may add or remove items that we personally fulfil in the future and will reflect any updates of this kind here on our Shipping and Returns page.
Delivery for all of the items listed are offered via Royal Mail Second Class for UK orders and International Standard for Europe and World zones 1, 2 and 3. Further details on shipping zones we use can be found at https://www.royalmail.com/sending/international/country-guides
We will ship all orders within 24-48 hours and most orders are delivered within 3-5 working days in the UK. International orders are usually between 7-10 days but this can vary.

For large orders shipped outside of the UK, you may be charged handling fees and taxes as your order passes through customs. Any charges on a parcel must be paid by the receiver. we (tomcreanbook.com) have no control over these charges and we cannot tell you what the cost will be, as customs policies and import duties vary widely. We advise you contact your local customs office for current charges before you order.
Returning an Item
If you wish to return an item from those we personally fulfil (See Section 1, paragraph 2 ), for any reason, you must do so within 30 days of the date of your purchase. If we have not been notified within 30 days, we can no longer offer you a refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return or exchange, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
We offer free returns and exchanges within the UK. Customers outside of the UK are required to pay postage for returns.
If you are exchanging an item, remember to let us know what you would like. with your proof of purchase and the reason for your return. We will email you a postage label to print and stick onto your package.
Please email email@example.com prior to posting with your proof of purchase and the reason for your return. It will be helpful if you were to accompany the e-mail with photographs of the issue you are highlighting.
For returns outside the UK, please re-wrap your purchase in the original packaging and send it to Shackleton (Returns Department), Unit 23, Albert Drive, Burgess Hill, West Sussex, RH15 9TN.
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email. A credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment within 5 working days.
2.1 Print and digital products that we offer via external booksellers
Some of the items we offer here at tomcreanbook.com are provided to our visitors by Print-on-Demand partners. This is true of a number of physical products and customers are required to reference the returns policy for the product you wish to purchase.
In the case of Print-on-Demand books such as Tom The Mighty Explorer and the third edition hardcover and paperback versions of Crean – The Extraordinary Life of an Irish Hero, these print versions are offered by a number of online booksellers such as the Book Depository, Amazon, Wordery and Waterstones to name just a few. The links that take a buyer from our shop to the purchase page of a bookseller means that the transaction is with that particular bookseller and if any issues occur after purchase, they must be taken up with the bookseller from which you purchased the book.

Redbubble operate as a global online, on demand marketplace for artists. Our copyright design, applied to gifts and apparel in our website shop, are offered to our visitors by the print-on-demand platform Redbubble with whom customer transactions are made. In maintaining our own policy of full transparency, we earn a small design fee on each purchase a customer makes on the products that are offered via Redbubble..
